Oxygen festival

Ok so I suppose we should start using this thing! What better way to start than comment on our dip into festival land!

Overall it was amazing but gale force winds, torrential rain, lost ma hat, me an Mince argued (well i argued, Mince stood behind lookin' mental) with The Strokes stage manager cause he wouldn't let us watch the gig fom the side of the stage!

We had been up there half an hour before to watch and supply rude gestures to 4 wee spotty guys who played the same song for 40 mins.

Anyway we did get to see the gig from a good point cause we hid behind sum official lookin people!

Then the gig, one word amazing, stepped off the bus onto the stage to a tent full of drunken wet nutters who knew the words to every song! Not bad considering we haven't released anything in Ireland yet!

Within minutes of coming offstage we were stood watching The Who playing one of the best sets ive seen em do yet. Positioned between the crowd and the stage it was incredible, still buzzing from my own gig standing watching my favourite band was summit I'll never forget.

Blagged our way up to the side of the stage again and watched Kasabian blow a hole in the roof of the tent, empire!

My last memory of Oxygen was chasing the bus doon the road because the bastards overlooked the fact that i wasnt on it and decided to leave. Stocked up on fags and munchies we headed for home in time for T:-)
