Hello All,
Hope you’re all well and good. I’m almost finished finishing the record I’ve been trying to finish and wondered whether the more adventurous of you would help me round everything off. The album will be called “Bright Night Flowers”, is nine songs long and has a vague musical theme of cities after dark running through it. I’ve been trying to tie some of the songs together with ambience recordings from city streets, but I still haven’t found anything that turns me on that much.
This is where you come in…
I’d love to hear what your city sounds like at night or early morning… if you’re at all inclined and have something to record on, then maybe you can capture something wherever you live in the world, that will help me tie my themes together; the stranger the better, whether it’s chaotic or tranquil I’d love to hear what you come up with. You could post these on Soundcloud or anywhere where I can hear them, send me a tweet, Soundcloud message or a post on my Facebook page so I know where to find them. If I use your recording I promise to give you a credit on the album sleeve!
Hope you can help,
Be well
Jon
