Dead Radio
This song was intended to be released on Psycho Jukebox, however Jon was told it was too late to make any further additions to the album so it was shelved and recorded for Bright Night Flowers in 2012. This was also shelved with the Fratellis' reunion.
A small snippet of it was released on the Album Sampler for the 2012 version of Bright Night Flowers and Jon played it as part of his podcast.
Lyrics
Old dead radio come be my friend
Sing me softly off to sleep again
I will be your
Permanent ghost
If you just dance with me
Nothing can last
When the day's passed
Into the night
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
Sweet redemption don't you pass me by
Show me a sign, give me one last try
Tell me the news
Say a quick prayer
And lead me home again
Big yellow moon
Crept in my room
Left me this way
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
Sing me softly off to sleep again
I will be your
Permanent ghost
If you just dance with me
Nothing can last
When the day's passed
Into the night
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
Sweet redemption don't you pass me by
Show me a sign, give me one last try
Tell me the news
Say a quick prayer
And lead me home again
Big yellow moon
Crept in my room
Left me this way
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
And I know I need one more second chance
One last car crash one more fake romance
Time was not a friend to me I heard
That don't change the way we were
