Hows it goin!
Hope your all well and good.We start rehearsing today for the new album so now that i'm awake i figured i'd check in.
It's been almost two years since we actually recorded Costello Music so we're bursting to get something else down on tape.When we did that album we hadn't done any sort of touring,we were just recording as we learned the songs,so now when i listen back to it as good as i think it is,it doesnt quite sound like the band we became.
I never really like to speculate on new songs too much before actually recording them,it's a bit like trying to describe a painting to someone when there still only a blank piece of paper.All i can say is that my head is a pretty exciting place to be just now if you like The Fratellis (or something like that!)
We really want to keep everyone as up to date as we can,i've said it before but we really do feel humbled and appreciative (?) for all the support you give us.
Throughout the recording we want to be able to let you in on it as much as possible,hopefully starting in a few weeks.
Anyhoo Mark is picking me up in a minute so i better skoot but if you really pushed me to speculate i'd say we're going to walk it!!
