Dangerbird Studios, Los Angeles, USA

Before recording his debut album Psycho Jukebox , Jon was visiting Los Angeles as part of the writing sessions. During this time, he visited Dangerbird Records’ studio as he had a relationship with them as they’d released Codeine Velvet Club in the states. This visit is documented in this video on their YouTube channel , with an early version of “Sometimes You Just Can’t Win” being played in the background over the talking. Thankfully, if you signed up for Jon’s mailing list you got sent a copy of the song without the narration over the top. Which has been preserved here for you to listen to!
